Question - Can I get more out of my box that is 97% busy

Review Case Study - Maximize CPU Utilization
- If after reviewing your numbers, there are any/all of the following:
- High Utilization (over 80%) with relatively low overhead (under 5%) (ESALPARS)
- There is CPU Wait (ESAXACT) when there seems to be plenty of capacity
- Linux server admins are reporting high "steal time" (ESACPUU)
- There is high Thread Idle time (ESALPAR)
- Q SRM DSPSlice - Velocity Software recommends setting it to 1
The the following settings should be reviewed/updated:
q srm dsps DISPATCHING MINOR TIMESLICE = 5 MS or if SMT is enabled: q srm dsps DISPATCHING MINOR TIMESLICE = 10 MS
